If you want to equip your product with an oscillator, and there is hardly an electronic application that can do without, you must define the operating voltage of your application first because oscillators are usually “calibrated” to a specific voltage value. A precise frequency requires a constant and predetermined working voltage. If deviations occur, the oscillator will create an inaccurate frequency, which can ultimately lead to malfunctions. This is an industry standard, but now, with the new JO22 and JO32 crystal oscillators, Jauch provides more flexibility.
Precision and Flexibility
The two new products are special; they generate an extremely stable frequency even with a variable operating voltage. In a voltage range from 1.8 Volts to 3.3 Volts, the oscillators perform with minimum frequency variation. This applies even if the operating voltage changes during operation. Manufacturers of electronic applications benefit for many reasons using these new parts. First of all, they are more flexible in the usage of the oscillators.
